ROBERT PARKER WINE ADVOCATE: 90+ POINTS
This south-facing vineyard is located on dolomitic sandstone and has all the micro-climate features required for a truly great Riesling. It produces a wine that is lively and fresh, with citrus notes. The first recorded charter for this site was in 1260, but before that it was used by the Romans, followed by the Bruderbach hermits. The wine’s subtle ripe nose opens up to mineral touches of sandstone and orchard fruit. The finish is of granny smith apples, pears, and citrus blossoms. Organic and Biodynamic made by Etienne Loew in Alsace, France.
