With aromas and hints of tropical fruit, citrus and a pronounce mineral character this wines is gorgeous right out of the bottle but can ages for another 10 years. Grown on limestone soils, the “Les Tillets" vineyard forces it’s vines to struggle for every possible nutrient and concentrate all it’s resources on a few grape cluster. As a result, the vine produces only a few clusters that are intensely concentrated and jam packed with flavor. In 2013 Meursault had treacherous weather; a powerful hailstorm decimated most of the vineyards and growers were forced to either pick early or loose up to 40% of their grapes. Despite the challenging growing season Les Tillets is expressive of both fruit and minerality while maintaining a superlative elegance.
